Orbital Trauma
When Choosing a Doctor, Experience Counts. Click here to find out why

We are ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeons who have years of training and experience to safely perform procedures on the delicate tissues around your eyes. When there has been an injury to the eye or surrounding tissue we refer to the injury as an orbital trauma. Orbital trauma can include injuries to the orbit (pear shaped bones surrounding the eye) or to the tissues surrounding the eye. The following orbital trauma categories are addressed in this section:

Orbital Foreign Body
Orbital Penetrating Injuries
Blow-out Fractures
Traumatic Optic Neuropathy (Injury to the Optic Nerve)

After confirming a normal examination of the eye and surrounding orbital tissue and bone, we will focus on the treatment or surgical repair of the damaged tissues.
